About NetBOM

NetBOM is an open, enforceable standard for defining what connected devices and applications are allowed to do — and nothing more.

In today’s networks, most devices operate with far too much freedom. They can talk to things they shouldn’t, reach the internet indiscriminately, and become silent liabilities. Traditional security tools rely on passive detection and reactive response. NetBOM flips that model.

We believe the future of security lies in enforceable intent, turning device communication requirements into machine-readable policies that networks can apply automatically. Whether declared by vendors or inferred through passive analysis, NetBOM ensures that every connected device operates under least-privilege, validated conditions.

Our Mission

To transform how organizations secure their networks, by making least-privilege policies not only possible, but automatic and expected.
