NetBOM Trademark Application Filed

We’re excited to announce that NetBOM, LLC has officially filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to protect the NetBOM name as we continue our journey toward securing networks through least-privilege, machine-enforceable policies.

The application was submitted on June 28, 2025, under USPTO Serial Number 99258131, and covers both trademark and service mark classifications. This filing represents a critical step in establishing NetBOM not only as an open framework, but as a recognized brand in the cybersecurity ecosystem.

As the application moves through the USPTO review process, we remain focused on building the infrastructure, tools, and partnerships that will make NetBOM a cornerstone for trusted network behavior enforcement, from consumer IoT to enterprise and critical infrastructure.
